Jacob Henderson DPT Candidate, CSCS, EP-C, FMSC has served as a Strength & Conditioning Coach, Fitness Consultant, Rehabilitation Technician, Health Coach, Sports Performance Coach and Personal Trainer throughout the country. He has coached some of the most accomplished high school and collegiate athletes in a number of sports. Not only has he worked with some of the best Strength and Conditioning Coaches, he has trained under a large number himself being a former Division One athlete himself for Old Dominion University.
Jake received his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Old Dominion University and is currently working towards his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Jake is known for putting the science into strength by taking a scientific approach to functional strength and conditioning. One of Jake\’s greatest assets is his physical therapy background that separates him from all other trainers, as it provides him with the ability to apply his knowledge of biomechanics, kinesiology and muscular anatomy in order to create some of the most effective exercises and programs around.
Jake recognizes that outside of professional and collegiate sports, very few individuals get the kind of training needed to reach their fitness goals. In order to demystify exercise science, Jake translates his knowledge into understandable and feasible training and focuses on the elements specific to your needs. He will help you not only reach but surpass your goals and maximize all your body has to offer. A non-intimidating, judgment-free environment allows everyone from beginners to experienced athletes to excel.
It is Jake’s love and passion to help his clients reach their fitness goals. Training has always been a part of Jake’s life. Now that his athletic career is over, Jake has become a seasoned fitness coach. He also likes to stay busy playing sports and hanging out with his friends and classmates.
